Student Information
Once you have taken the decision to embark on your career learning path at ACI, registration is easy.
Simply come and see us and fill out the registration form, you will be required to pay the registration fee of Ks 1,500.00 to secure your place. Please ensure at this point you read, understand and sign the rules and regulations. Thereafter, a minimum of 40% deposit of total course fee is required for you to commence.
There is a small list of items you may be required to purchase depending on the course you are doing - this list is available at the reception.
As ACI is a small personalized college, places are limited - on any module we feel comfortable with a maximum group of 10 to 12 students. This gives you ample attention with the tutor. Mandatory subjects for all courses are Anatomy & Physiology and Professional Conduct/ Business Awareness - this group has a maximum of 20 students.
For all therapy based courses, you must provide white trousers, and closed white shoes. As with the fitness related courses, you must provide a tracksuit and sport shoe. All students receive an ACI T. Shirt.
Home clothes are only permitted for theory classes and no jeans apart from Fridays.
Course fee's can be in form of a cheque made out to Alison Caroline Institute, cash and by bank transfer (details available on request). Please ensure you ask for and receive your receipt of payment.
Classes start at 9.00 a.m and end at 4.00 p.m on full time courses. There are normally three class sessions. 9.00 to 10.45 a.m, 11.00 to 1.00 p.m and 2.00 to 4.00 p.m.
The college operational hours are from 8.30 a.m to 4.30 p.m Monday to Friday and from 9.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m on Saturdays only. We are closed all Public Holidays.
Sponsorship and Student Assistance
Every year ACI assists 4 students either partially or fully in completing their dream of an education - this is done through the courses at ACI. Alison is always looking for anyone that maybe in a position to co-sponsor with her, enabling young form IV leavers complete an education."There are many underprivileged children in Kenya, and education is the best gift anyone can be provided, particularly a practical profession, as they can use this skill wherever they go" Alison says.
